Remette RT-ONE
The Remette RT-ONE pushes integral knife construction into completely new territory as the world's first folding knife to combine a one-piece integral titanium handle with a button-operated frame lock. Rather than using a conventional button lock, the RT-ONE uses the button to actuate the frame-lock mechanism, delivering the strength and simplicity of a frame lock with the convenient operation of a button. Remette itself describes the RT-ONE as the first folding knife on the market combining a single-piece integral handle with its Button + Frame Lock system.
At the center of the RT-ONE is a 3.35-inch Böhler M390 drop-point blade with a hand-finished pearlescent surface. The blade rides on caged ceramic ball bearings, providing the smooth action expected from a premium integral folder.
The real centerpiece, however, is the construction. The RT-ONE's integral titanium chassis is machined from a single piece of titanium, eliminating the traditional two-piece handle construction found on most folding knives. Depending on the selected configuration, different handle materials, inlays and finishes further transform the appearance of the RT-ONE while retaining the same integral foundation and innovative locking system.
Titanium hardware continues throughout the build, including the titanium pocket clip, screws and thumb studs. At 8.27 inches overall with a substantial 4mm blade, the RT-ONE delivers a premium full-size build without becoming excessively heavy.
With its combination of M390 steel, integral titanium construction and the world's first button-operated frame lock in an integral folding knife, the Remette RT-ONE isn't simply another variation of an existing platform; it's a genuinely unique mechanical design built around a construction and locking system that hadn't previously been brought together.
