Vanguard Nakiri
The Vanguard Nakiri brings custom-inspired styling, premium materials and an unmistakable cleaver-style profile together in a substantial titanium frame lock. Designed by Geoff Blauvelt of TuffKnives, the Nakiri stands apart with its broad blade, deeply machined titanium handle and striking Timascus inlays.
At the center of the Vanguard Nakiri is a 3.63-inch Böhler M390 blade. Its wide, cleaver-inspired profile gives the Nakiri a commanding appearance while providing plenty of usable cutting edge. Multiple blade finishes are available depending on the selected configuration, including Vanguard's eye-catching polished finishes.
The handle is constructed from titanium with extensive precision machining that adds both texture and visual depth. Set beneath the machined handle sections are Timascus inlays, creating flashes of color that contrast against the titanium and give the Nakiri its distinctive premium appearance. The knife uses a titanium frame lock for secure lockup and incorporates an elongated blade fuller for deployment.
Measuring approximately 8.13 inches overall, the Nakiri is a substantial full-size folder with a 4.5-inch titanium handle. Different combinations of handle and blade finishes allow the character of the knife to range from understated to extremely bold, while retaining the same distinctive Nakiri design across the lineup.
